Faction Background
The Obsidian Dwarves are a hateful, spiteful people, their numbers kept low by the internal wars that have ravaged them for as long as their civilization has existed. They escaped the worst of the reign of Ret-Talus, hidden as they were deep below the surface in their smoke-filled pits. But when Balzar, a diminutive weakling among his kind, found a summoning stone in a smoldering pool of lava, everything changed.The magic of the stone has transformed Balzar into a hulking brute, and he has led his forces out of their hellish home and into the wider world. Here their hatred of everything can be stamped across the face of Itharia. They will not rest until everything that isn’t them is excised from the world.
