Faction Play Style

The High Elves control the rules of engagement, with many of their cards featuring abilities called laws that produce area of effects that do not discriminate between friend or foe! This means that gameplay as the High Elves is a constant strategizing of positioning to ensure your own forces reap all of the benefits of these laws, meanwhile making your opponent suffer under them. This faction requires careful management of where their units are positioned and which areas of the battlefield are being altered by card abilities. This makes for highly complex gameplay but likewise highly rewarding as opponents can only look on in envy at your powerful effects, always just out of reach.

Faction Background

The Isle of Emeria seems like a small island surrounded by impassible cliffs, its crown covered with a densely packed pine wood. But such is the nature of the powerful illusion that cloaks the Great Priory, spired home of the High Elves. There in the alabaster towers, the High Elves have watched in secret, frustrated with the perceived barbarism of the other species, and disdainful toward their distant kin whom they view as degenerates.
Valeria the Just, so-named for having correctly answered the Questing Hag’s Three Riddles of Morality, She has ever dreamt of a day the High Elves could return to glory and restore order and peace to a diseased world. Her order. Her peace. When Providence deigned gift Valeria with a summoning stone, she knew the time had come to finally cleanse a wound infected by the lesser peoples of the world.
