Faction Background
The Eternal Council existed in secret for nearly seven hundred years, prior to their discovery of a summoning stone. Always they lurked in secret from their hidden bastion known as the Mislaid Tower, studying the history of the world and plotting its future. The Council believed that only their careful planning could keep the world from falling into bloodshed and chaos, so they sought to do so until the coming of the first summoning stone, which threw all their plans into ruin.The Council recruits from most sentient species in Itharia, at least those where some folk might be agreeable to the Council’s aims. But with the acquisition of their own stone, the Eternal Council has decided to take a more direct role in shaping Itharia’s future. They desire peace, and will kill who they must to achieve it.
