Crimson Order
"Pay in Blood"

Faction Play Style

The Crimson Order is a deck bringing forth power from sacrifice. They are capable of tremendous offensive might, but needing to damage themselves to accomplish this — always a tricky feat. The summoner, Baron Daemar, heals himself as long as he attacks, a necessary requisite given that Daemar’s life is an active resource for this faction, quickly depleted by some of their powerful abilities.
While Crimson Order units may appear somewhat weak at first glance, the faction features numerous ways to enhance their units and make them much more dangerous, albeit always through some kind of self-sacrifice! Baron Daemar doesn’t mind this though, since he knows there is no shortage of warm bodies for him to exploit.

Faction Background

In ages past, Dragos, the first vampire, used magic to turn his blood and saliva into an infectious curse. He planned to create his own army of fiends with which he could murder and overthrow Ret=Talus, finally freeing himself from his master’s cruelty. But the lich discovered the plot, and released the first batch of Dragos’ minions from his thrall.
Baron Daemar was one of those vampires. He was once Count in the long-dead city of Waels. Upon becoming a vampire, he hired a small army, conquered a small swath of land in the wilds, and invoking King Valmond’s Law of Expansion, declared himself baron. Far from the watchful eyes of the king, Daemar flourished and built in secret his own cabal of vampires. He filled their heads with hints of ancient mysteries and filled their hearts with the promise of secret destiny. Now the Summoner Wars have given Daemar the chance to make a move he never would have dared before.
