Each time a friendly Citadel unit within 3 spaces of this unit is targeted by an attack from an enemy, roll 2 dice. For each rolled, reduce the attacking unit’s strength by 1 during that attack, to a minimum of 1.
Unit Background
Coleen Brighton well-represents the promise of recruiting from among the citizens of Heap. Her family lost to a Fallen Kingdom attack, Coleen was only too eager to join the Citadel of the Fist’s fighting forces. There she was quickly recognized for her ability to draw forth magic energy that could shield her fellows from harm, a talent that has caused her grandmaster to field her more and more frequently.
Card Strategy
Colleen is the most commonly summoned champion for Vanguards, her combination with Citadel knights is very powerful. She makes Citadel knights harder to kill and those same Citadel Knights are being simultaneously used to protect her.
She can fight in the frontlines, protected by Knights until she gets wounded and then can retreat to be replaced by Citadel Paladins. Each instance of her ability is not that powerful onto itself, but when it’s applied during a lot of the game and to every common (not that hard to do), then she can quickly provide an unfair amount of value to the Vanguards.
